[Solution Case] Introduction of a mechanical report to the quenching and tempering furnace line.

Introducing software to prevent losses caused by large-scale repairs and manufacturing line stoppages!

MEX Kanazawa 2023 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9yQsMGkqxts Heat Treatment Furnace Analysis https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uB3RToEfE7A&t=19s We delivered the "Kiko Report" to Company A, a manufacturer and seller of automotive parts. At this company, as a result of continuing operations after a broken conveyor chain and chain replacement in the heat treatment process on the quenching and tempering furnace line, the conveyor broke down, resulting in financial losses. Although there was data from the equipment obtained from the PLC to analyze the cause, it was difficult to manually analyze the vast and complex raw data. Therefore, by simulating the current values of the conveyor where the failure occurred with our product, it was found that there was a possibility of preventive maintenance being possible more than six months before the failure. 【Case Summary】 ■ Client: Company A, a manufacturer and seller of automotive parts ■ Product Implemented: Kiko Report ■ Implementation Results - It was revealed that there was a possibility of preventive maintenance being possible more than six months before the failure. - Currently, 50 items of sensor data are collectively diagnosed for preventive maintenance using the "Kiko Report." *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Proposal for examining the causal relationship between IoT predictive maintenance and quality and equipment management.

Recommended technical proposal for customers considering the measurement of the effectiveness of predictive maintenance and equipment management operations, as well as quality improvement! Utilizing large-scale data and machine learning as well!

This document explains, based on our company's implementation results and experience, the necessary considerations for threshold examination, which is always a concern when conducting predictive maintenance, as well as what indicators should be used when considering and implementing predictive maintenance. Additionally, we focus on the analysis of causal relationships with quality-related issues, which we have received many inquiries about in recent years, in conjunction with equipment maintenance. When building IoT and predictive maintenance systems, it is essential to start with a system that is around 60 to 70 points rather than aiming for a perfect score of 100 from the beginning. Gradually improving the system towards the desired state is necessary. This document introduces some of the essence of that approach.

What are the reasons for the demand for the digital transformation of equipment maintenance? Regarding the effects of IoT implementation.

I will explain the overview of equipment maintenance and the reasons why digital transformation is required.

Equipment maintenance is one of the essential initiatives to ensure the stable operation of in-house production equipment and systems, allowing the business to continue. To prevent damage caused by equipment stoppages or failures, regular inspections and early detection of issues are crucial. However, equipment maintenance requires specialized knowledge and skills, and the serious shortage of personnel on-site has led some companies to face challenges such as "heavy workload in inspection and monitoring tasks" and "maintenance tasks and management systems becoming overly dependent on specific individuals." This article will explain the overview of equipment maintenance and the reasons why digital transformation (DX) is necessary. *For more details, please refer to the related links.
